Many restaurants in your restaurant are usually one-sided. The owner or driver speaks and everyone is listening. These meetings are great for transferring data but are not effective in motivating staff, building teamwork, and creating new ideas.
After reading Chet Holmes's great sales book, they found and tested that the most effective meetings in the restaurant or any organization actually did not meet, but workshops. Everyone in a workshop will interact. Studies have shown that if people are involved in the decision-making process, they are willing to follow the decisions made in the given process.
Workshops are an excellent way to combine training, team building, motivation, and communication. Staff will be more comfortable in talking about an environment that encourages participation; so they have developed a foundation for team building and the motivation for communication.
Tips for Effective Workshops:
There are many different approaches that can be taken in the workshop design. At the same time, even if you want to encourage group participation, you also want the workshop to be constructive. If you do not have any format, the workshop could be an hourly grip instead of a constructive solution.
· Very unique. The more specific you are, the more you can reach. If you are planning weekly workshops; keep them for about an hour and focus on one or two questions. Many other workshops will be needed to solve the problems. Do not try to collect everything at once. After the initial workshop, where you want to find ideas about what you want to discuss, you need to break them down and throw some at the end of each workshop. This gives the group the question that is discussed in the workshop, but will avoid taking the time to decide what a huge list of topics are concerned.

· Loosen it. Enjoy snacks and drinks. Some people like to play games while others do not. You are here to get acquainted with your colleagues and determine what "fun" is, yet constructive for them.

The most effective and constructive workshops focus on people's key priorities, personal responsibilities and interests.
